Vision
The Utah County Republican Party’s (UCRP) purpose is to get our platform into governance. We achieve that by getting strong Republican candidates elected to office. We also need to grow our Party by engaging our youth.
We must provide resources, including training, to our precinct officers and delegates so they can be successful in their positions. We have to create a stronger financial foundation by striving to perpetuate contributions to the Party. We will support our elected representatives when they propose bills that will put our platform into governance. We can accomplish all of this but only if we work together and are united as Republicans. I can work with anyone if there is civil discussion. I will listen to them, I will respect them and their opinions, even though we won’t always agree. Disagreement doesn’t mean disrespect.

Platform
🔵 Recruitment
The future of the Utah County Republican Party is in our youth. We need to grow our Party by engaging our youth to get them involved and active as Republicans. We achieve that by establishing as many Teenage Republicans (TARS) clubs as possible in our local high schools. We need to assist the College Republicans clubs at Brigham Young University and Utah Valley University with activities to help bring more young people into the Party. We also need to work with the Young Republicans to accomplish the same thing. We need to provide opportunities for our youth to explore and serve in many different capacities.
🔵 Training
Many precinct officers and delegates want to become more involved in the political process, but they don’t know where to start. We need to provide appropriate training for their positions and how to be involved in their communities. We should provide training on how to navigate the Utah Legislature website, how to propose a bill and its journey through the Legislature, and how to testify in a committee hearing. We need to provide the resources for them to be successful.
🔵 Fundraising
The Party is on a good financial footing right now. I want to improve upon that and get the Utah County Republican Party on a very strong financial foundation. I am a strong advocate of the UCRP Elephant Club. I was among the first to join and donate monthly. My goal is to have $100,000 in the bank, not just to have it but for what we can do with it – supporting our candidates; providing additional training for precinct officers and delegates; growing our Party by supporting TARS, College Republicans, and Young Republicans.
🔵 Legislative Support
We need to support our elected representatives when they propose legislation that promotes our Republican platform into governance. We accomplish this by contacting our legislators, telling them we support that legislation, and assisting them in getting it passed.
